For some patients, treatment can begin immediately. In other cases, we can schedule an appointment for your treatment to work with your schedule.
You may feel a slight pinch upon injection. However, most of our patients experience minor discomfort during their lip filler treatment. This is because dermal fillers contain a numbing agent that works immediately upon injection. You may feel some numbness around the treated areas up to a few hours after the procedure. Immediately after treatment, you may notice small marks at the injection site. However, typically these last only a few hours. Bruising can also occur and can take up to a week to disappear, but can be easily covered with makeup.
